Yes, the database incompatibility is unfortunate but was necessary to advance the server's access control structure. I did write a short comparison of NSAPI 1.x versus NSAPI 2.x, which may not include all of the sections. It's at the end of chapter 4 in the Programmers Guide (which is accessible in the 2.x servers by clicking on Help and then clicking on Contents).
